Renewing Your Faith Ministries - Restoring God's House one Person at a Time
RESTORING THE BODY OF CHRIST

Once the body is heading in the right direction, “Christ takes the throne” and then the healing process can begin. Many have spent lots of time and money doing religious “stuff”, but they are still empty. Their lives have little meaning. Their joy is not full. Hopelessness is a yoke around their necks and, week after week, the drudgery of religious activity fills their calendars. This new ministry will be a clarion call for renewed and enriched faith. Christ must be elevated to the highest place in the hearts and minds of every believer.

Restoration means getting back into the right condition.
  • The church consists of those who have been born again (John 3:3-7)
  • As the church we are to be Holy (1 Corinthians. 1:2; Ephesians 1:4, Hebrew 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15).  In both attitude and action.
  • As the church we are to live a surrendered life to Christ (Romans 6:4-10).  The old self is dead and buried and now through Christ we can live a new life.

Friends, churches today have become corrupt with pride, greed, and worldliness.  Many of the prominent ministers have convinced the body that it is their spiritual right to be wealthy and rich.  The so called shepherds of the body of Christ have become "holy" jet setters and consider it their spiritual duty to rub shoulders with unbelievers and compete with them for all the riches the world has to offer. While we are called to be salt and light the scriptures also teach us that leaders are not to be addicted to money or entrenched in the things of this world not only leaders but all of God's children (2 Corinthians 10:1-3; 1 Timothy 6:6-16; 1 Peter  2:11-12; 2 Peter 1:3-4;1 John 2:15-16).

So instead of coming up with reasons that we can live according to the sinful nature, the 'Bride' must turn from her idol worship.  An "IDOL" is anything I Desire Over the Lord.  Friends we cannot get into the right condition if we have left our first love (Rev 2:4).
