If you are serving in the body of Christ, you are potentially leading someone somewhere. People are looking to you for instruction. People are looking to you for encouragement. People are looking to you for guidance. People are looking to you for acceptance. People may want or need a lot of different things from you.
WHAT THEY REALLY NEED IS TRUTH!
Jesus says something in the gospels that should capture the attention of every person on earth. In Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42, and Luke 17:2 Jesus follows his instructions about humility, which is key in the life of every true disciple, with a severe warning to any who cause a believer in Christ as Messiah to sin.
Around the globe there are a multitude of cultures and lifestyles. People have preferences and desires which are unique and distinct. This however is not what Jesus is talking about. He is addressing the fact that it is possible to be responsible for causing other believers to sin and that he will deal decisively with those who perpetrate such crimes against the body of Christ and ultimately the Kingdom of God.
